Episode 24--Weekend full of fun!

Well, big duh here!  I recorded this when I got up this morning around 7:30a.  One thing led to another and here I am remembering I forgot to upload the episode.

Since the day has passed I can share about the hike we went on today.  Oh my god!  Our nice casual trail near our house was completely change by the Winter storms.  Most of the trail was covered by branches, fallen trees and debris.  it was a different hike than imagined, but we really were out in nature before the forest service makes it pretty for us;)  Quite the work out and definitely a few scrapes.
Visiting with our friends was so great!  We had a wonderful meal afterwards and fun with animals:)

Episode 22--A weekend away

Our other two goats gave birth while I was gone.  and Zoom Zoom is just getting bigger!
Companion planting in the garden.  I'm talking in reference to my large garden.  It doesn't mean it will work to space plants in a smaller garden all the time.  These are just some rules to use if you can.  Here is a great book full of companion planting information.

Knitting Retreat!

I decided rather last minute to join a knitting retreat over at Imperial Stock Ranch this weekend.  So episode 22 of the podcast will be coming out a little late this week.  But I'll share it all with you on Monday:)
Unfortunately my memory card is not wanting to work!  So there won't be photos (maybe on the iphone) of the weekend and the camera is holding hostage the photos I had planned to post last week.
Most especially I have not been able to get pics of the two pheasants that hatched this morning!!  We have had some eggs in an incubator and the first two hatched.  The husband is in charge of photos here this weekend with his camera so I have something to show you Monday.  Hopefully more baby goats and we have an Angora ready to kindle as well!  Just call me Dr. Doolittle;)
